WELCOME TO EISLEY PREP
Welcome students, new and old, to the esteemed Eisley Preparatory School of Brooklyn, New York. Eisley has a proud history and the staff here are all properly trained and ready for their jobs. We are proud to add you students to the equation of what makes Eisley one of the best and most prestigious schools in the nation.
In order to preserve our school's rich history and make sure that our students are doing as well as they can and receiving the best education that they can get, we have created this student manual that lists all the basic rules you students will be expected to follow during your stay at Eisley.
CURFEW
Curfew will be enforced after midnight for all grades. It is up to you as a student to decide whether or not you will return to your dormitories before that time. Remember that you will need an adequate amount of sleep to perform well in classes the next day. Any students caught returning to their dormitories after curfew will be punished accordingly.
CONCERNING DORMITORIES
Food of any kind is not allowed in dormitories at any time. The school cafeteria is open until curfew; if you need food or get hungry, please go there.
There should never, under any circumstances, be more than five students to a single dormitory room. You may request up to two roommates and although your request will always be considered, you may not end up with the people you requested.
The co-ed dorms are a new addition to Eisley. We expect that students will act accordingly and appropriately in their new dorms or this new privilege will be revoked. That being said, please respect your peers' privacy and remember that the girls' dorms are for girls and the boys' dorms are for boys. Anyone caught in the dorm of the opposite sex - especially after curfew - will be punished accordingly.
TERMS
Each term or marking period at Eisley lasts from late September to early June. Once each term is done, all students will move up into the next grade or graduate unless there is a reason for them to be held back. There will be a two-month long summer break in between each term. Students may go back home for this vacation or stay at the school.
Throughout the school year, there will be other breaks and vacations that will be announced.
Thank you. That is all for now.
The Head of Administration
