So we most def need to plot these two! :]

I'm thinking that something could actually happen romantically with these two. Elijah's been sitting on his ass (as far as dating/flings go) for quite some time thanks to his incredible infatuation with Ara and now that she's pregnant with his child, he's basically been at her every beck and call; kind of like a foot servant. And he and Ara had some brief romantic adventures (some brief, intense romantic adventures) and he still clearly (like, so obviously) has feelings for her, but she has a boyfriend! Hayden Kelley of course, who Elijah used to hate but now has built some kind of tolerance and slight respect for. Hayden's leaving for the military soon though which means Ara will be far away from her Golden Boy--perfect opportunity for Elijah to sweep her off her feet, no?

Mm, possibly not! Not that he hasn't considered that, but he's beginning to think that would be a really dick move. Ultimately, he just really wants Ara to be happy and if she's happy with Hayden, he's happy for her. If she'd be happier with him, that'd be a different thing, BUT!

This is where Brooklyn comes in (haha, finally). Elijah's realized he's wasted a good portion of this year just pining over Ara (mostly hopelessly) and he doesn't exactly want to be celibate, you know what I mean? He's still pretty oblivious about when girls like him, so he wouldn't catch on to Brooklyn's crush very quickly, but if the two end up hanging out a little more (whenever Elijah's taking some me time, perhaps), their friendship could deepen and possibly develop into something more? Just putting that out there. Brooklyn would probably have to make the first move to make Elijah see, but he could follow up with some romantic notions. I don't know if you'd want to them to be in a relationship or whatever (I'd be down), but whatever happens with these two, Elijah's future baby girl is going to be a HUGE priority in his life, so Brooklyn would have to be okay with that for things to work for very long at all.

And now that I've gone on and on, I want to hear your input, haha!

Most definitely!

Brooklyn, undoubtedly, wouldn't mind something finally happening between the two of them. She's grown used to seeing Elijah pinning over Kiara, so when she comes to the realization that he's trying to move on from Kiara, she'll be ecstatic. Now as far as her feelings for him, she's of course still completely head over heels for him, but she's also still majorly stuck on the whole 'she's positive she's not his type' thing. She'll be thrilled that he's hanging out with her more though, and it will become fairly obvious in due time that she really does like him a lot.

And as for what direction their relationship will develop in, quite honestly Brooklyn would love something deeper and romantic, but she's also kind of gotten to the point she doesn't think he'd ever actually, seriously, consider her for something like that, so she'd take what ever relationship she could get from him, hence her adoration of the friendship they have. She's not shy in most things she does, so I think under the right circumstances she'd open up about her feelings to him. But only if she was sure he wasn't still completely obsessed with Kiara

As for his future baby girl, she'd have no problems understanding that, she gets priorities and that his little girl would be a huge one in his life. Actually I think she might think poorly of him if his baby girl wasn't a huge priority, and as long as he wasn't still having lovey-dovey moments with the little girl's mother she'd be completely down with it.

Well, she's definitely Elijah's type so once he catches on to her feelings, he probably won't have a hard time convincing her of that. They could definitely bond over music (maybe she could encourage him to be more active with the band again as that stuff has kind of taken an abrupt halt with all the baby business) and I can see them just talking and chilling too.

Relationship wise, Elijah does like to go on dates, so he'd definitely ask Brooklyn out on some. They'd probably start off really casual (or at least, Elijah would be so awkward with the way he'd ask her out that it'd sound like they were going as just friends), but I'm sure with time it'll develop into a lot more.

But yeah, thanks to his new thing with not getting involved with Ara's romantic life, Elijah will definitely be concentrating on his own romantic life more (more specifically, Brooklyn) and so that would help deepen their relationship considerably. I'm sure most people would agree that it's about time he moved on from Ara (although obviously they'll still be good friends and he'll look after her when she needs him, but he won't be looking to make out with her or anything this time around, haha).

And yes, I am so down for a thread! Would you mind starting it? You can choose the place and premise; I don't much mind. :]

She'd be taken aback by his interest but you'd hear no protests from her, in fact she'd probably down right thrilled. And she'd definitely encourage him to take up music again, she does so enjoy listening to his music. She'd be thrilled to go on dates with him, and probably get a little flustered at him actually asking her out, even if it was just as friends in the beginning. And yes, pretty much everyone would agree it's about damned time he moved on from her.

And I have one thread already up, but if it does not suit you, I can most certainly start another one =3

Cool beans, cool beans! Also, if she wanted to ask him to the Sadie Hawkins, he'd have no problem going even if it was very last minute if she just really wanted to go and hadn't asked anyone else yet. :]
